Winifred Olds

Winifred Olds passed away on June 20, 2013 after complications from a broken shoulder a few weeks earlier. She graced Lansing stages for an almost incomprehensible seventy years, from her debut with the Lansing Civic Players in 1942 to her award-winning performance in the Starlight Dinner Theatre production of Steel Magnolias in 2012. In 1958, with her husband Wes, Bee and Karl Vary and others, she helped to establish the Community Circle Players, the company which now performs at Riverwalk Theatre.
